Orion is Kagi’s free WebKit browser: you open a Start Page of Favorites (Wikipedia, Kagi Translate, Homebrew, GitHub) and type a URL in Search or enter website name, and the browser itself is $0. Use it when the job is a zero-telemetry WebKit window you start at a public $, not when you need a Chromium AI sidecar.
Soft-note: browser is Free; Orion+ is a support SKU ($5/month, $50/year, or $150 lifetime) for early builds / badge / icons — not a second browser. Distinct from SigmaOS, Dia, ChatGPT Atlas, Rill, and Nimbus. Distinct from Kagi (the search engine).
What makes it unique: the cover is Orion’s official press-kit Start Page (1 Tab, Search or enter website name, Favorites Wikipedia / Kagi Translate / Homebrew / GitHub / Orion Issue Tracker / Orion User Guide) from Orion Media Kit 2025 Desktop_1.png — not a Product Hunt poster or wordmark. The Kagi Translate tile itself is ops of Favorites.
Search or enter website name (cover). A URL field, not an Orion+ tile.Wikipedia / Kagi Translate / Homebrew / GitHub / Orion Issue Tracker / Orion User Guide (cover). A tile row, not a $5 meter.1 Tab plus window traffic lights (cover). A tab, not lifetime.+ at the right of the bar (cover). A control, not Get Started.+ on the cover is a CTA (not a sixth desk). Orion+ $5 / $50 / $150 tiles stay in Pricing.
Best fit: Mac / iOS users who will stay on Free at $0 while they open a first Favorites Start Page, then Orion+ at $50/year when they want early builds and the forum badge — not $150 lifetime first unless they want that printed commitment, and not SigmaOS workspaces.

Search or enter website name on WebKit.We searched @KagiInc (oEmbed author: Kagi). Current uploads we resolved are brand / retreat / ambassador spots (Kagi Retreat, Belgrade 2026, Humans first…) — not a how-to of the Start Page. We do not embed third-party Orion walkthroughs (oEmbed author Bog on “The Orion Browser Experience”) as officialVideo. Use the written Quick Start and the Start Page still.
Catalog row curated for AI Tools Nav. Cover is Orion’s official press-kit Desktop_1.png Start Page (Favorites Wikipedia / Kagi Translate / Homebrew / GitHub + Search or enter website name). Dollars checked on help.kagi.com/orion/orion-plus (browser Free $0; Orion+ $5/mo, $50/yr, $150 lifetime). No official how-to YouTube on @KagiInc at check.
