What it is for

Nimbus is an agentic desktop browser with Claude Code UX: you type a command and the AGENT LOG plans, navigates, and types on the live page, and the first 500 founding users keep it $0 forever (BYOK). Use it when the job is a browser whose primary chrome is the agent log, not when you want a Chrome-extension sidecar.

Soft-note: alpha (v0.0.17-alpha on the site / GitHub releases). The founding-cap offer is still printed on usenimbus.app.

Who it's for

Best fit: people who want Claude Code’s chat-plus-log UX on the web, will claim a founding spot at $0, and will paste their own Gemini / OpenAI / Anthropic key — not teams that need a billed Nimbus seat (none is printed) or a Chrome extension.

BYOK (Gemini / OpenAI / Anthropic / OpenAI-compatible) is on the Product Hunt thread (maker: syllogismos). Downloads from syllogismos/nimbus releases (v0.0.17-alpha: macOS arm64 / Windows x64 / Linux amd64).

Founding users (first 500) — $0 forever, while the homepage still prints the cap. Soft-note: founding form + “Claim my spot” on the same page.
BYOK — you pay Gemini / OpenAI / Anthropic (or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint). “No server of mine in the loop” (PH).
Platforms — macOS 13+ Apple silicon (brew install --cask syllogismos/tap/nimbus); also Windows and Linux builds on the same release.

BYOK is not $0 compute. You pay the model vendor. Nimbus does not print a hosted-token pool.
Alpha (v0.0.17-alpha). macOS 13+ Apple silicon for the Homebrew path; Windows / Linux are separate release assets.
Not usenimbus infra repos. The product release repo we verified is syllogismos/nimbus (README + Nimbus-mac-arm64.dmg / win / linux). Do not link unrelated usenimbus/* repos.
