Skyvern is an AI browser-automation app plus an AGPL SDK: the official docs still (see the cover: Settings → API keys table inside the Quickstart) is the getting-started surface. Use it when the job is describe a portal task and watch a cloud browser run it, not when you only need markdown from a URL.

The engine is AGPL-3.0. Self-host is $0. Cloud Free is $0/month. Hobby is the first public paid card.

A cached action is 15 credits. Browser uptime is 200 credits/hour ($0.20). OTP parse is 10 credits.

Limitations / costs

• Free credits are one-time. They do not reset each month.
• An action is $0.03. A long multi-page run burns many actions.
• Cloud anti-bot extras sit on paid cards. Hobby is basic CAPTCHA; Pro adds residential proxy.
• Self-host is your ops. Cloud dollars do not apply to a local compose stack.
