eesel

What it is for

eesel is a helpdesk teammate you hire: connect Zendesk / Freshdesk / Intercom, let it draft or send on real tickets, and only pay when it works a ticket. Use it when the job is AI on the helpdesk you already have, not when you need a new inbox.

What makes it unique: the cover is eesel’s own docs — official Welcome still of the dashboard chat briefing a teammate — not a pricing card.

Key features

• Helpdesk automations — a real agent in Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, Gorgias, HubSpot, or Help Scout that drafts or sends, tags, and escalates (Welcome; Helpdesk Agent). One ticket job. Copilot vs autonomous, and email / chat / Slack channels, are SKU of this. Nothing sends until you create an automation.
• Historical simulation — run past tickets, chats, or emails in a sandbox and read the would-have-done report before go-live (Welcome; eesel “Helpdesk simulation” skill). A rehearsal, not a live reply.
• Actions + approvals — look up Shopify / Airtable (or call an API) and take writes (tag, route, refund) that wait on Approve / Always allow / Deny (Welcome). A hand that writes, not a draft.
• Reports — topic detection, knowledge-base gaps, and resolution trends on the connected queue (Helpdesk Agent Insights). An ops desk, not a ticket.
• Internal operations — answer the team’s own questions from docs inside Slack or Teams (Internal operations). An internal teammate, not a customer ticket. Content Writer and Shop Assistant are jobs the same teammate can also hold, not extra products.

The dashboard chat that briefs the agent, npx @eesel/cli, and MCP are ops / install. Credits are the meter. Helpdesk brand names are SKU.

Who it's for

Best fit: support teams who will burn the Free 100 credits on Zendesk drafts and only buy Teammate when they need a monthly batch (from $299 / 500 credits).

Pricing

Verified 2026-10-22 (Asia/Shanghai) from eesel.ai/pricing. A ticket or a customer chat is 1 credit, however many replies. No seat fee. No platform fee.

• Free — $0/month. 100 credits to try every feature and integration. No card.
• Teammate — pick a monthly batch. Public cards start at $299/month for 500 credits, then $499 / 1,000, $699 / 1,500, $849 / 2,000, up to $1,749 / 5,000. Change size any time. Unused credits do not roll over.

• Add-ons — Priority support from $299/month; SSO / MFA from $199/month.

Pay a year upfront and they advertise two months free — confirm checkout. Slack questions, scheduled agents, reports, and a full blog post can cost more than 1 credit (pricing FAQ).

Limitations / costs

• Free is 100 credits, then the agent pauses. There is no $20 seat.
• $299 is 500 credits, not unlimited tickets. Overage is $0.80 each if you turn it on.
• A helpdesk layer, not a new inbox. For an open-source inbox see Chatwoot. For Intercom’s own agent see Intercom Fin.

Alternatives

• Intercom Fin — Intercom’s customer agent when you already live in that inbox ($0.99/outcome).
• Chatwoot — an open-source inbox when you want to host the desk, not hire a layer.
• Chatbase — a customer-facing agent when you do not need Zendesk automations.
