MultiOn

What it is for

MultiOn was a browser agent API: you send a command and a start URL, and the agent clicks through the live page. Use this page when the job is understand the last public MultiOn Agent API — not when you need a product that still sells a seat today.

multion.ai now 301s to AGI, Inc.. Docs remain at docs.multion.ai. There is no live public price card on either site.

What makes it unique: the cover is MultiOn’s own Skills Screen from the docs — name, description, site URL, and natural-language rules — not a wordmark.

Key features

• Browse command — cmd + url (example: top Hacker News comment) returns the agent’s result (Quick Start).
• Create session — POST /v1/web/session opens a cloud (or local-extension) session that stays warm for 10 minutes of idle (Create Session).
• Skills — no-code natural-language rules that steer the agent on a named site and add guardrails (cover; Skills).
• Local vs cloud session — local: true runs through the Chrome extension; default is cloud (Create Session).
• Session screenshot — the session response includes a screenshot URL of the page the agent saw (Create Session).
• Retrieve (last public extract meter) — a cheaper extract-only call sat beside Browse on the last public card (Wayback 2024-11-23; post-mortem on UsagePricing).

Who it's for

Best fit: researchers and historians of web agents who still have a MultiOn key, or who need the last documented API.

Poor fit: teams that need a living hosted agent (Browserbase / Stagehand) or a consumer browser (Perplexity Comet).

Pricing

Verified 2026-10-22 (Asia/Shanghai). theagi.company/pricing is 404. docs.multion.ai prints no dollars. Last public Agent API card (Wayback 2024-11-23, cited by UsagePricing):

• Basic — $0.04 / request (self-serve; one request ≈ one page action).
• Premium — $0.025 / request with a $50,000/year minimum.
• Retrieve API — $0.01 / request (extraction-only).
• Custom — above ~10M requests, contact.

Do not treat those rows as a checkout you can open today. Confirm on theagi.company or the docs before you spend.

Limitations / costs

• The consumer site redirected. Treat MultiOn as a documented API, not a live app store listing.
• No current public $. The $0.04 / $0.025 / $0.01 rows are last-known, not a 2026 checkout.
• Sessions die after 10 minutes idle on the Create Session docs.
• Skills are profile-page rules, not a versioned skill marketplace on the docs we copied.

Alternatives

• Stagehand — MIT act / extract / observe you can still run locally.
• Browser Use — MIT agent loop plus a living Cloud SKU.
• Manus — hosted no-code agent if you want a cockpit, not an SDK.
