Motion

What it is for

Motion is a hosted Today agenda desk: you open the day’s tasks, and the first printed public tile is Pro AI at $19/seat/month yearly. Use it when the job is a scheduled list you start at a public $, not when you need a $20 chat seat.

What makes it unique: the cover is Motion’s official Today agenda (Monday Jun 9 (Today), Design Jam 10 AM Join, Redesign landing page 10 AM, Write LinkedIn Post 10:30 AM, Weekly team sync 12 PM, Prepare blog post / Prepare video loom / Review feedback and edits / All Hands) from the product still on Motion’s official blog — not a pricing card. The rows themselves are ops of Today.

Key features

• Today — the day’s scheduled tasks and meetings (cover still; pricing AI Task Planner). One desk. Cover Design Jam / Redesign landing page sit here. Quick meeting / New sit here as CTAs, not a sixth desk.
• Calendar & Meetings — the calendar Today draws from (pricing “AI Calendar & Meetings”). A calendar, not a Today row. Cover Join on Design Jam is a CTA on Today.
• Projects & Tasks — the project list behind the agenda (pricing “AI Projects & Tasks”). A project, not a 10 AM cell.
• Docs, Wiki & Notes — pages next to the agenda (pricing). A doc, not a Today task.
• AI Chat — the coworker Pro AI includes (pricing; official Agents film). A chat, not a scheduled row.

Join / New / Quick meeting on the cover are CTAs (not desks). Pro AI / Business AI tiles are the meter. 7,500 / 15,000 credits per seat are the extra meter, not a desk we fold into Today.

Who it's for

Best fit: solo operators who will start on Pro AI at $19/seat/month yearly while they open a first Today agenda, then Business AI at $29 yearly when they need team capacity planning / 15,000 credits.

Pricing

Verified 2026-10-23 (Asia/Shanghai) from usemotion.com/pricing. Figures below are the printed USD per seat tiles (PROAI / BUSINESSAI).

• Pro AI — $19/seat/month yearly ($29 monthly). 1 seat in the tile. 7,500 credits/seat/month. AI Chat, AI Projects & Tasks, AI Calendar & Meetings, AI Docs / Wiki / Notes, AI Task Planner, AI Writer & Editor, unlimited storage, iOS / Android / desktop, integrations.

• Trial — “Start your free trial. Risk free. Cancel anytime.” No $0 forever tile on the page we fetched — do not invent one.

Confirm checkout; taxes follow your location. Credit overage is not a printed unit we copied — do not invent it.

Limitations / costs

• There is no printed $0 forever plan. The public start is Pro AI $19 yearly.
• 15,000 credits and capacity planning are Business AI. Pro AI stays at 7,500.
• A Today agenda, not ClickUp’s work table. For that table see ClickUp.

Alternatives

• ClickUp — a work table when you want ClickUp’s public $, not Motion’s Design Jam Today row.
• Linear — an issues list when you want Linear’s public $, not Pro AI $19.
• Coda — a Team Tasks table when you want Coda’s public $, not Business AI $29.

Official tutorial

Official Motion channel video: I Tried Motion’s AI Agents - “Gamechanger” (oEmbed author: Motion). First-party Motion Agents film; the Today agenda still is the cover. Agents on the video are ops of AI Chat / Projects, not generate-on-Today. We searched @usemotion / @Motion — recent uploads are AI commentary; this is the official Motion-product film we oEmbedded.
