Reflect is a local-first Daily notes desk: you open today’s Markdown page and tick a named checklist, and the Mac app is Free. Use it when the job is a dated note you start at a public $, not when you need a $20 chat seat.

Who it's for

Best fit: writers who will stay on the Mac app at Free $0 while they open a first Daily note, then pay the iPhone / iPad subscription when they need mobile — do not invent that iOS $; it is not printed on the pages we fetched.

Pricing

Verified 2026-10-23 (Asia/Shanghai) from reflect.app. Figures below are the printed public tiles we fetched. Reflect Open is the current product (cover). Classic is “still maintained” on that page — no Classic dollar printed there; do not invent one.

• Reflect Open on Mac — Free. Printed: “Free on Mac.” Local Markdown in a folder you choose. iCloud Drive or Git sync. Apache-style source at team-reflect/reflect-open.
• iPhone & iPad — “Paid subscription.” No dollar on the homepage we fetched — do not invent one. Optional AI needs your own API key; provider charges are separate.
• Reflect Classic — still maintained; paid Classic subscribers get one year of the iPhone and iPad app free. No Classic $ on the pages we fetched.
• AI — bring your own key. Usage billed by your provider, not as a Reflect seat tile.

Confirm the live App Store / checkout if you want mobile. Do not copy a third-party “$10/month” Classic sticker that is not on reflect.app today.

Limitations / costs

• iOS has no public $ on the homepage. Quote Free on Mac only unless a later official tile prints a number.
• AI is not a Reflect Cloud meter. You bring a key; the provider bills you.
• A Daily notes page, not Obsidian’s Bases table. For that table see Obsidian.
