What it is for

PhotoRoom is a product-photo editor: the signed-out Background Remover (see the cover: checkerboard drop zone, Start from a photo) is the tool. Use it when the job is cut a product out and export a listing image, not when you only need a one-click object erase.

It is not open source. A free signed-out remover exists. Pro is the first public dollar card we could copy in full.

What makes it unique: the cover is the live photoroom.com/tools/background-remover drop zone — a real upload UI, not a wordmark.

• Signed-out Background Remover — start $0 on the tool page we captured (rate-your-page prompt). Exact Free export caps are not printed on that tool chrome.
• Pro — $7.50 / month, billed yearly. 8,000 AI credits; 1,000 exports; unlimited core tools; AI Fashion Models. No Video Generator / adjustable AI Shadows / 4K on that card.
• Max / Ultra — listed on the same page (video, higher credits, 4K on Ultra). No reliable public $ in the HTML we fetched. Copy the live card at checkout.
• Enterprise — custom.

VAT/GST is included on the FAQ we copied. Mobile store prices can differ from desktop.

Limitations / costs
