Our take
Pick ClickUp if ops / marketing teams who will stay on Free Forever at $0 (unlimited tasks, 60 MB storage) while they open a first My Tasks home, then Unlimited at $7/user/month yearly when they need unlimited Spaces / Forms / native time tracking. Pick Taskade if operators who will stay on Free or pay Pro $10/mo yearly to host a first live app — not ClickUp first unless they want a full work OS.
