Writefull - AI Tools Nav

What it is for

Writefull is an academic language editor for Word and Overleaf: it checks research English, rewrites a sentence, and (in Overleaf) writes LaTeX. Use it when the job is edit the paper you already have open, not when you need a full manuscript workspace.

What makes it unique: the cover is Writefull’s own Word user-guide still — a cassava manuscript plus the Check-paragraph pane with Accept / Reject.

Key features

Language check — grammar, word use, and academic phrasing from models trained on journal articles, in Word or Overleaf (Word guide; Overleaf guide). Writefull Revise (upload + Track Changes) is the same check in another host.
Rewrite widgets — Paraphrase, Make concise / punchy / scientific, Split / Join, and the Academizer (Word guide). One rewrite stream, not a second language check.
Title generator — title from the abstract you already wrote (homepage; Word guide).
Abstract generator — abstract from the paper you already wrote (same pages). A different generate job than a title.
TeXGPT + LaTeX helpers — prompt-to-LaTeX plus table and equation generators in Overleaf (Overleaf guide). Code, not English edits.

Ask AI / Explain / Summarize sit on the rewrite / assist stream. Synonyms, Sentence Palette, and Supercomplete are editor chrome. Model names are SKU.
