What it is for

Tigris is a hosted S3-compatible object-storage desk: you open Buckets, and the monthly free slice is 5 GB Standard plus 10,000 Class A and 100,000 Class B requests. Use it when the job is objects you start at $0 egress, not when you need a $20 chat seat.

What makes it unique: the cover is the official Tigris Buckets list (five buckets, locations, the Soft Delete column) from the docs still — not a pricing card. The rows themselves are ops of Buckets. Tigris bills GB + request classes, not seats. Egress prints $0 / Free on every tier we fetched.

Key features

• Buckets — an S3 bucket you create and list (cover still; create; soft-delete). One bucket. Cover names, locations, and the Soft Delete column sit here.
• Objects — a file you put in a bucket (web console; query metadata). An object, not a bucket. The file browser and multipart uploads sit here.

The CLI / SDK is install. Standard / Infrequent / Archive tiles are SKUs of stored GB. Class A / Class B and the 5 GB free slice are the meters. Billing is the invoice, not a sixth desk.

Limitations / costs

• 5 GB free is Standard only, and it resets monthly. A 6th GB invoices $0.02 / GB-month; Infrequent / Archive are never the free slice.
• Infrequent and Archive have minimum retention. Delete or tier-change early and you still pay the 30- or 90-day window.
