Stytch is a hosted auth-and-RBAC desk: you open Roles & Permissions, and pay-as-you-go starts at $0 / month for 10,000 monthly active users. Use it when the job is orgs, members, and RBAC you start at $0, not when you need a $20 chat seat.

What makes it unique: the cover is the official Stytch Roles & Permissions → Resources list (Demo Workspace / My first project, stytch.organization / stytch.member / stytch.sso rows) from the docs still — not a pricing card. The resource rows themselves are ops of RBAC. Stytch bills $0 until 10k MAU, then usage; optional brand removal is $99; extra SSO / SCIM connections are $125 / connection.
