Quadratic is an AI spreadsheet with Python, SQL, and JavaScript cells: connect a live database or a CSV, ask in English, and the last line of code lands back on the grid. Use it when the job is analysis you can audit in a cell, not when you need a BI dashboard.

• AI chat on the sheet — ask in English; it writes formulas, Python, or SQL and edits cells you can open and check (Getting started; homepage “Ask in plain English”). One ask stream.
• Python / JS code cells — / then Python or JavaScript; the last line returns to the grid (q.cells("A1:E500")) (Python). Code you own, not a chat reply.
• Live SQL connections — Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, and more; the query cell dumps rows onto the sheet (Connections; homepage connectors). A pipe, not a generate.

Limitations / costs
