Playwright is Microsoft’s browser-automation desk: you open Trace Viewer on example.spec.ts > get started link, step Click / Expect, and the library is Free / OSS (Apache-2.0). Use it when the job is a trace you start at a public $, not when you need Cypress Cloud’s Team $67 only.
