What it is for

Meshy is a text-or-image-to-3D workspace: type a prompt or drop a photo, get a mesh, then texture, remesh, rig, or send it to a slicer. Use it when the job is a printable or game-ready 3D asset in the browser, not when you need a full DCC like Blender.

What makes it unique: the cover is Meshy’s own Image-to-3D workspace still — meshy.ai/workspace, Image tab, Model Type, Meshy 6, Multi-view / Pose toggles — not a pricing card.

Key features

• Text / Image to 3D — one generate pipeline: prompt or photo → white mesh, then optional Texture (Beginner’s tutorial; Text to 3D). Multi-view photos are this generate, not a second product.
• PBR texturing — albedo / normal / metallic / roughness on a Meshy mesh or an upload (Beginner’s tutorial AI Texturing). A paint pass, not a new mesh.
• Rig + animate — auto-rig humanoid or quadruped, then pick from 600+ motion presets (homepage “Rig and Animate”; pricing Unlimited Animation). Motion, not a generate.
• Print path — watertight / manifold check, auto-repair, auto-split, and export to Orca / Bambu / Cura (homepage “The Only 3D AI Trained to Print”). A slicer handoff, not a texture.
• 3D Agent — describe a scene or character storyboard; the agent sequences generate / edit steps (pricing “World’s First 3D Agent”; homepage MCP). An actor, not a single Generate click.

Remesh / low-poly sit on the same mesh after generate. Blender / Unity / Unreal / Godot / Maya plugins and the API / MCP are install / SDK. Credits are the meter. Model names (Meshy 7 / 6 / 6 Lite) are SKU.

Who it's for

Best fit: game and print makers who will pay Pro so more than the Free 100 credits and a CC BY 4.0 watermarked license sit on a private asset.

Verified 2026-10-22 (Asia/Shanghai) from meshy.ai/pricing. Official pricing cards win over the help-center list. Cards we copied (monthly dollars; FAQ also names 50% off first month and 20% off annual — we copy the list cards, not a promo).

• Free — $0. 100 credits / month (reset 00:00 UTC on the 1st). 1 concurrent task; low queue priority; CC BY 4.0 (commercial with attribution). No card.
• Pro — $20/month. 1,000 credits / month (up to ~100 assets); high queue; 60% faster; 4 free retries / task (web); unlimited animation with 600+ motions; DCC Bridge (Roblox, Blender, Godot, Unity, Unreal, Maya, 3ds Max); private ownership.
• $40 card — $40/month. Higher queue; 12 free retries; Creative Lab image cap. Help still names this Premium with 3,000 credits — we keep the live $40 card.
• Studio — $70/month. 5,500 shared credits (up to ~550 assets); 80% faster; 24 free retries; team management; shared credits; 14-day API asset retention; 3D Agent. Help still prints Studio $60 — pricing page wins.
• Enterprise — custom. 100 concurrent tasks; forever API retention; SAML SSO; multiple workspaces.

Help Beginner’s tutorial credit examples: Text-to-3D Model Stage 20; Texture 10; Image-to-3D with texture 30. Monthly plan credits do not accumulate. Permanent credits (purchased / rewards) do not expire. Help’s Ultra $50 / 8,000-credit row was not a card on the pricing page we opened.

Limitations / costs

• $20 / $40 / $70 are monthly pricing-page cards. Help still lists Premium $40, Ultra $50, Studio $60. Annual is “20% off” until checkout prints a yearly dollar.
• Free is CC BY 4.0 + 100 credits. Pro is the first private-ownership card.
