Lemon Squeezy

What it is for

Lemon Squeezy is a hosted orders desk: you open Orders, and the platform fee is $0 / month. Use it when the job is paid rows you start at $0 platform, not when you need a $20 chat seat.

What makes it unique: the cover is the official Lemon Squeezy Orders list (#10244 Gracelyn Schaefer, iPhone 12 Mockups $29.00, 9,988 total orders, 685 new, 1 refund) from the product still — not a pricing card. The rows themselves are ops of Orders. Lemon Squeezy bills 5% + 50¢ per transaction, not a chat seat.

Key features

• Orders — a paid row you search and export (cover still; docs). One desk. Cover #10244 and $29.00 sit here.
• Products — a digital SKU you create (docs; official video). A product, not an order. Files / license keys sit here.
• Subscriptions — a recurring entitlement you manage (docs). A subscription, not a product. Status sits here.
• Checkout — a hosted pay form you open (docs). Checkout, not a subscription. Overlays sit here.
• Affiliates — a partner you pay a cut (docs). Affiliates, not checkout. Payouts sit here.

The sparkline on the cover is the same Orders pipeline (not a sixth desk). The $0 / month tile and the 5% + 50¢ fee are the meter. Tax remittance is included in the fee, not a desk we fold into Orders.

Who it's for

Best fit: indie / SaaS teams who will stay on $0 / month platform (5% + 50¢ per paid checkout) while they open a first Orders list, instead of a $25–$99 billing seat.

Pricing

Verified 2026-10-23 (Asia/Shanghai) from lemonsqueezy.com/pricing. Copy prints $0 / mo and 5% + 50¢ per transaction.

• Platform — $0 / month. No monthly seat.
• Transaction — 5% + 50¢ per successful checkout (merchant of record: payments, tax, payouts).
• No extra published monthly SKU on the page we fetched. Volume / custom is contact.

Confirm checkout; taxes are collected by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

Limitations / costs

• The 5% + 50¢ is per paid checkout, not a seat. 500 × $20 checkouts is $750 in fees (5% of $10,000 + 500 × $0.50).
• A merchant-of-record desk, not Polar’s open-source checkout. For Polar see Polar. For Chargebee see Chargebee.
• Paddle was dropped from this batch — no curlable Catalog / Subscriptions product-UI still (only marketing checkout illustrations).

Alternatives

• Polar — open-source merchant of record when you want Polar’s checkout, not Lemon Squeezy’s $0 / 5% Orders list.
• Chargebee — subscription billing when you want Chargebee’s $0 / $99 Growth tile, not Lemon Squeezy’s 50¢ fee.
• RevenueCat — mobile MTR when you want RevenueCat’s $2,500 / 1% Overview, not Lemon Squeezy’s iPhone mockup row.
