Hailuo AI

What it is for

Hailuo AI is MiniMax’s hosted H3 video canvas: the signed-out hailuoai.video (see the cover) is Create Video with a prompt (“A child flying a kite…”), MiniMax H3, Omni Reference, 2K, and Create. Use it when the job is an H3 clip from a sentence or a still.

Hosted product. The live canvas printed a $9.99 / mo subscribe teaser.

What makes it unique: the cover is the live H3 composer (prompt + Create), already the product.

Key features

• Create Video composer — prompt, H3, Omni Reference, 2K, Create (cover).
• Create Image and Hailuo Agent — sibling tabs on the same chrome.
• MiniMax H3 — the live model chip on the canvas.
• Open Platform API — per-second H3 rows on platform.minimax.io.
• Video packages — prepaid Hailuo points (H3 is pay-as-you-go on that doc).

Who it's for

Best fit: motion-heavy short-form editors who want MiniMax H3 in the Hailuo tab or via API.

Pricing

Verified 2026-10-22 (Asia/Shanghai) from the live hailuoai.video canvas ($9.99 / mo teaser) and official MiniMax video pricing. The /pricing and /subscribe URLs opened the same canvas. Re-check the in-app plan modal before you buy a seat.

Consumer teaser:

• Subscribe chip — $9.99 / mo on the signed-out canvas.

Open Platform (pay-as-you-go, USD):

• MiniMax-H3 — $0.08 / second at 768p; $0.13 / second at 2K.
• MiniMax-H3-Max — $0.05 / second at 480p; $0.08 / second at 768p.
• Hailuo 2.3 (legacy) — $0.28 per 768p 6s clip.
• Video packages — $1,000 / $2,500 / $4,500 / $6,000 for Hailuo models; the doc says H3 is not supported yet.

Seat cards (Standard / Pro / Master) can appear after sign-in. The listing quotes the teaser and the API table.

Limitations / costs

• The public canvas printed $9.99 / mo, not a full four-card table.
• H3 API is per second. A 6s 768p clip is $0.48 at $0.08/s.
• Video packages skip H3 on the doc.
• A signup modal can appear on first load. Dismiss it to keep the H3 composer in view.

Alternatives

• Vidu — Q4 Create composer with yearly Standard $8.25.
• Kling AI — Kling 4.0 membership credits.
• Runway — signed-out video/image studio.
