FigJam

What it is for

FigJam is Figma’s collaborative whiteboard: you drop stickies (Search? / CATEGORY FILTERS!) and watch multiplayer cursors (Deema / Damien), and FigJam access rides Figma seats. Use it when the job is a jam board you start at a public $, not when you need Miro’s account-priced canvas only.

Soft-note: there is no standalone FigJam SKU. Professional Collab $3/month is the FigJam-capable seat; Full $16/month includes FigJam plus Design. Distinct from Miro, Excalidraw, tldraw, and Whimsical.

What makes it unique: the cover is Figma’s official sticky jam (yellow Search? + blueberry illustration + Deema / Laureen, lilac Add related posts to each article detail page + Damien, mint CATEGORY FILTERS! + striped tape + Jefferson) from the Sanity still — not a marketing wordmark. The Deema cursor itself is ops of the board.

Key features

• Stickies — yellow / lilac / mint notes (cover still; figma.com/figjam). One desk. Cover Search? sits here.
• Multiplayer cursors — Deema / Damien / Laureen / Jefferson (cover). Cursors, not a Collab tile.
• Image on sticky — the blueberry frame with handles (cover). An embed, not a $3 meter.
• Tape / stamps — yellow-stripe tape on CATEGORY FILTERS! (cover). A stamp, not Full.
• Connectors — the Damien triangle pointer (cover). A connector, not Organization.
• Board canvas — the white jam (cover). A canvas, not Get Started.

Share / Invite on the file are CTAs (not desks). Starter / Professional tiles stay in Pricing. Figma AI credits stay off Key features as AI extras.

Who it's for

Best fit: teams who will stay on Starter Free while they open a first sticky jam, then a Professional Collab seat at $3/month when they need paid FigJam — not Full $16 first unless they also need Figma Design, and not Organization $55 unless they need org libraries.

Pricing

Verified 2026-10-23 (Asia/Shanghai) from figma.com/pricing. Soft-note: FigJam is a seat capability, not its own card.

• Starter — Free. Limited access to Figma products (including FigJam limits on the compare table).
• Professional · Collab seat — $3/month. FAQ: Collab includes full access to FigJam, Slides, Buzz, Specs; view/comment on Design.
• Professional · Full seat — $16/month. FAQ: Full includes FigJam plus Design / Make / Draw / Motion / Sites / Dev Mode.
• Professional · Dev seat — $12/month. Includes FigJam; Design is view/comment.
• Organization / Enterprise — Full $55 / $90; Collab $5 (annual). Do not invent a FigJam-only Enterprise $.

Confirm checkout; taxes follow your location. You cannot buy FigJam as a standalone product (FAQ).

Limitations / costs

• FigJam rides Figma seats. A Collab $3 seat is the cheap FigJam path; Full $16 is the Design bundle.
• Starter is limited. Unlimited files/projects start on Professional.
• A jam board, not Miro’s 3-board Free canvas. For that canvas see Miro.
• The product is not OSS. We omit a GitHub CTA.

Alternatives

• Miro — a team canvas when you want Free $0 (3 boards) / Starter $8, not FigJam’s Deema sticky.
• Excalidraw — a hand-drawn OSS editor when you want Free $0 / Plus $7, not a Figma seat.
• tldraw — an infinite canvas SDK when you want a whiteboard you can embed, not Collab $3.
• Whimsical — a diagram board when you want flows/docs, not CATEGORY FILTERS! tape.
