Explainpaper

What it is for

Explainpaper is a paper + explain panel: upload a PDF, highlight a sentence, and the sidebar writes a simpler take. Use it when the job is an in-context explanation next to the PDF.

Free exists ($0 / month). Pro is the first public paid card.

What makes it unique: the cover is Explainpaper’s official homepage product still — the paper, Paper / Explain / Chat tabs, and the Explain button.

Key features

• Paper + Explain — highlight a sentence and press Explain (cover) on explainpaper.com.
• Understanding Level — slide from beginner to expert for the same sentence.
• Follow-up questions — keep asking beside the PDF in the Chat column.
• Figure explain — click a graph, figure, or equation on Pro.
• Automatic outlines — jump to page references generated from the paper on Pro.

Who it's for

Best fit: students and researchers who already have a PDF and want a sentence-level explainer beside it.
