Elai

What it is for

Elai is a hosted AI Storyboard desk: you open a slide list and edit speech text, and Free is $0 (the pricing card prints 1 minute). Use it when the job is a presenter slide list you start at a public $, not when you need a $20 chat seat.

What makes it unique: the cover is Elai’s official AI Storyboard (Audit Planning, slides 01 Welcome to Audit Planning 14s / Introduction speech, 02 Your Role & What’s at Stake 14.7s / Objective · Materiality · Risk · Scope, Generate / Rewrite) from the How to create a video with AI Storyboard help still — not a pricing card. The slides themselves are ops of the Storyboard.

Key features

• AI Storyboard — a slide list with on-screen text, speech text, media, and duration (cover still; help). One desk. Cover Welcome to Audit Planning / Your Role & What’s at Stake sit here. Generate / Rewrite / Convert to slides sit here as CTAs, not a sixth desk.
• Avatar studio — the speaker you drop on a slide (How to Create Your First Elai Video; first-video still Kira Carter / Head of Sales). An avatar, not a Storyboard speech cell. Avatar library / Custom avatars sit here.
• Templates — the Create new video picker (first-video help; pricing “100+ Templates”). A starter, not a Storyboard row. Blank / Career Services / Audit Planning cards sit here.
• Interactivity — branching, buttons, hotspots, and quizzes you attach to a published video (pricing Interactivity). A path, not a slide duration. Branching prints on the compare grid.
• Video Analytics — views / watch time / engagement on a rendered video (pricing “Video Analytics”). A report, not a Storyboard speech cell.

New video / Import from file / Preview / Render on the cover are CTAs (not desks). Free / Creator / Team minute tiles are the meter. AI Storyboard “turn a topic into a video” and AI image generation are AI extras, not a sixth desk we fold into the slide list.

Who it's for

Best fit: L&D / enablement teams who will stay on Free at $0 (1 minute) while they open a first Storyboard, then Creator at $29/month ($276 billed annually) when they need 15 minutes and Full HD.

• Free is 1 minute. A 15-minute desk is Creator $29 monthly / $276 yearly.
• 4K, premium voices, and custom fonts print on Team. Creator stays Full HD.
• A Storyboard slide list, not HeyGen’s AI Studio script pane. For that studio see HeyGen.

Alternatives

• HeyGen — an AI Studio script pane when you want HeyGen Free $0 / Creator $29, not Elai’s Audit Planning 14s slide.
• Synthesia — a presenter studio when you want Synthesia’s public $, not Creator $29.
• Colossyan — an L&D avatar desk when you want Colossyan, not Team $125.
