Codecov is a hosted coverage desk: you open a repo Coverage report, and Developer is Free. Use it when the job is line coverage you start at $0, not when you need a $20 chat seat.

What makes it unique: the cover is the official Codecov Coverage report (codecov/codecov-cli, 95.98% on main, 28,203 of 29,414 lines, +0.43% / 3 months, file tree 96.22%) from the docs still — not a pricing card. The rows themselves are ops of Coverage. Codecov bills per user, not a chat seat.

Verified 2026-10-23 (Asia/Shanghai) from about.codecov.io/pricing. Tiles print Developer Free, Team $5 per user/month, and Pro $12 per user/month. A second Team row also prints $4 per user/month (treat as the yearly toggle — do not invent a name for it).

• Developer (Free) — $0. Open-source unlimited uploads, or a single-user team with small private repos and up to 250 coverage uploads / month.
• Team — $5 / user / month. Up to 10 users and 2,500 coverage uploads / month. Patch coverage only on the compare copy we fetched. Hidden if you already have more than 10 activated users.
• Pro — $12 / user / month. Any-sized team (two or more). Project coverage, Flags, faster processing. Pro trial is offered on the page.
• Enterprise — contact sales. Dedicated cloud / SAML notes on the FAQ.

Limitations / costs

• Developer private uploads cap at 250 / month. A busier private monorepo is the $5 Team tile.
• Team is patch-only and max 10 users. Full project coverage is the $12 Pro tile.
