Activepieces is an open-source automation workspace with agents: describe a job, get a flow, or let an agent run across 760+ pieces — on their cloud or yours. Use it when the job is flows + agents + tables in one desk, not when you want a closed Zapier-only cloud.

MCP server, API, and SDK are install / SDK. Credits (AI steps cost 2 / 10 / 20 on hosted models; BYO keys drop AI to 1) are the meter. Self-host vs cloud is where it runs, not a fifth product.

• Plus — $20/month flat. 10,000 credits / month; then $0.007/credit; up to 5 users; bring your own AI keys.
• Team — $200/month flat. 50,000 credits; unlimited projects; 25 users; SSO and standard roles; global connections; email support.
• Ultimate — custom. Yearly credit pool; dedicated workers; SCIM; Git Sync; audit logs.
• Embed — from $36k/year (white-label builder). Separate from the four seats.

FAQ: Community Edition self-host is the automation core; paying adds governance, Agents/Chat polish, and human support. SOC 2 is in progress — they do not claim a cert yet.

• Free is 1,000 credits with a daily drip. Plus is the first BYO-key card.
