Our take
Pick Sora if researchers tracking the shutdown, not new buyers. Pick Veo by Google if cloud customers who will run the Veo 3 notebook and accept a per-count bill. Skip Sora if people who need a buyable video model today (Runway, Kling AI). Skip Veo by Google if people who want a signed-out consumer composer (Runway) or a local diffusion graph (ComfyUI).
